Job Description : A spice mill operator is responsible for operating and tending machineries like hammer mills, sifters, blenders, roasters and coolers, pneumatic conveying blowers, rotary air lock valves and cyclones etc. These machinary operations has to be done in order to grind various spices to a target granulation and specifications. This will also include operating slide gates, using hand tools, and operating electrical controls. Operators are also responsible for clean and accurate packaging of designated spice & Masala product outputs .
Position Requirements:
Plus two- Science stream, ITI- Mechanical or Electrical * Must be able to communicate in Malayalam (Read, Speak & Write), Hindi (Speak) & English ( Read & Write) * Clean-in-place/sanitation experience preferred. * Minimum two years experience in working in the similar background of Spice & Masala Processing and packaging. *Must be able to lift up to 50-60kg regularly. *Flexibility to support/train on all three shifts. *Work in an environment that is dusty and may contain spices with high pungency & heat. * Be able to work on feet for duration of shift. *Regular stooping, kneeling, climbing, bending at the waist, reaching or handling.
Vision requirements: near and far visual acuity. * Ability to work in hot temperatures. *Ability to work in a noisy environment.
